Teachers have mastered the “Brain-Compatible” teaching strategy, which has increased children’s participation rate and learning motivation in class, and then reconstructed and improved children’s higher-order thinking ability. Teachers encourage children to express their opinions through open-ended questions, and guide children to use their existing knowledge to analyze, integrate and evaluate the opinions put forward, thereby developing children’s creativity and critical thinking.
Since 2018, the “16 Habits of Mind” teacher training courses have been introduced to integrate the application of habits of mind into the learning process and classroom activities, giving children the opportunity to practice habits of mind and promote their learning outcomes. It is hoped that they will become children who are brave enough to take responsibility, good at communication, innovative and keep learning in the future.
